Prospects is where you keep the businesses you'd like as clients. Each one can get a free sample audit of its website and a report with your branding to send them. Prospects appears in the workspace menu once client work is on (Settings → General → Client work).
Check a lead's website
- Open Prospects and, under Check a website, enter the Website and, if you like, the Business name and Contact email.
- Choose Check website. The sample audit checks up to 50 public pages, the way a search engine reads them, and uses one of this month's sample audits (Sample audits this month shows how many are left).
- Open the prospect to see the report. Add a Personal note, then Create share link or Download PDF, and use the Email draft to send it. Withdraw link stops a shared link working. If your client portal runs on your own address (Workspace settings → Branding), share links use that address.
Follow each lead
The board shows each prospect in its stage: New, Contacted, Replied, Won or Lost. Drag a card to move it, or change Stage on the prospect's page. List shows them as a table you can search. To delete several at once, tick them in List and choose Delete: their sample audits and share links go too.
Import prospects from a CSV file
- Export your leads from a spreadsheet or your CRM as a CSV file (up to 1,000 rows and 2 MB).
- In Prospects, choose Import CSV and choose the file.
- Check which column fills each field: Website (needed), Business name, Contact name, Contact’s last name, Contact email, Notes and Stage. Arva SEO matches them from your column names; change any that are wrong. Untick The first row has column names if your file starts with a lead.
- Other columns, such as a phone number, can go into each prospect's notes.
- Check the preview, then choose Import.
Websites already in your prospects are skipped, and the result lists any row that couldn't be added, with its row number and why. Stages like "Customer" or "Not interested" become Won and Lost; anything else starts as New. No sample audits start on their own: run one from each prospect when you're ready.
