A case study is a report that tells one story from start to finish: where the website began, what was done, the proof, what the numbers did, what the numbers cannot tell you, and what comes next. Arva SEO builds it only from data it has already saved. It writes nothing for you and promises nothing.
Make one
Open the website, then Reports, then the Case studies tab, and choose New case study. Pick the day the work began and the last day you want measured. If the website has a benchmark, start on the day it was recorded. Choose whether to hide the client's details, then create it. The web version is free. A PDF uses one report from your plan's monthly allowance, like any other report.
What is in it
- Starting point. The benchmark and its dates: SEO Health, search clicks and impressions from Google, organic sessions where Analytics is connected, tracked keyword positions and the known issues. With no benchmark, Arva SEO rebuilds the start from the daily data saved before your start date, and says so.
- What was done. Tasks marked done, approved titles and descriptions applied to WordPress, other work on the timeline, pages you assessed and the events you recorded (promotions, paid ads, seasons, website moves).
- Evidence. The old and new SEO title and description where Arva SEO applied a change, and the titles, descriptions and main headings two saved audits saw on the same pages.
- Results. The same number of days at the start and at the end, so the comparison is fair: SEO Health, clicks, impressions, average position, sessions and each tracked keyword (improved, unchanged, dropped or not ranked). Any day 30, 60 or 90 check started in the period is listed too.
- Limits. Written from the data: missing or partial days, a small number of clicks or keywords, a short period, a different season, events you recorded, Google updates on Arva SEO's list, and changes made outside Arva SEO that it cannot see.
- Next steps. The open priorities from the latest audit.
Missing data is shown as missing, never as zero. A result is not proof of cause: the case study shows what happened over the same dates, not why.
Hide the client's details
Turn on Hide the client's details to show the case study publicly. Hidden: the website name and domain (replaced by a neutral label you can change), page addresses (shown as the path only), the client logo, and the website's name or domain wherever it appears in task names or page text. Not hidden: your own business name and logo, every number and date, and page titles, descriptions, headings and keywords, which can still point to the business or its place. The path of a page can also name the business. Read the case study before you share it.
Good to know
A case study is frozen when you create it, so later data never changes it. Create a new one to update it. It is not added to the client portal and has no public link. Your plan's history limits what daily data exists for earlier dates.
