Once Arva SEO is connected to Claude or ChatGPT (see Use Arva SEO in Claude or ChatGPT), you can do most of your SEO work by asking in the chat. Your AI works with your Arva SEO access and your plan, and saves its work to Arva SEO, where your team sees it.
With the Claude plugin, Claude follows a ready-made skill for each step below. Without it, just ask in your own words.
Get started: add and verify a website
Ask "Add my website to Arva SEO and help me verify it." Your AI checks which platform the website runs on (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Ghost) and where its domain's DNS is managed (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap and others), recommends the easiest way to verify, and walks you through it one step at a time with the exact tag, DNS record or file to add. When you're done, it checks, and explains what it found if verification doesn't work yet. Then it can run the first audit.
Research and Map
- "Which keywords am I close to page one for?" (Search Console searches in positions 8–20)
- "Find keyword ideas for dental implants." (one keyword research lookup)
- "Save these keywords, give each one a page and track their rankings." (each tracked keyword uses a rank-tracking slot)
- "Are any of my pages competing for the same searches?"
Optimize
- "What should I fix first?" Your AI reads the latest audit, PageSpeed results, AI search and local SEO, and turns what matters into tasks on the website's task board.
- "Test my homepage's speed." (one PageSpeed test per device)
- "How does my business show up in ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews?"
- "How do I rank on Google Maps around my clinic?" (a Business Profile lookup or a map grid scan)
- "Improve the title and meta description of my implants page." The suggestions are saved to Optimize for review.
Authority and Compete
- "Compare me with my competitors." Add a competitor by its domain if there's none yet.
- "Which keywords do my competitors rank for that I don't?"
- "Who links to my competitors but not to me? Add the best ones to my outreach list." (fresh backlink data uses backlink lookups)
Content
- "Write a brief for my next content piece," then "Write the draft from the brief." Briefs and drafts use the business's own experience notes and are saved to Content for review.
Report
- "What changed on my website this month, and what needs attention?"
- "Create last month's client report with a summary and next steps." The report is saved in Report; make the PDF and share it from there.
Send to WordPress
With the Arva SEO Connector installed, ask "Send the dental implants article to WordPress as a draft" or "Send the new titles and descriptions to WordPress." Your AI asks before each send, and never goes beyond the publishing mode the site's WordPress administrator set: on Draft only, everything arrives as a draft. Titles and descriptions sent to Yoast SEO or Rank Math can be undone from the website's WordPress page.
What uses your plan
The same allowances as in the app: keyword research lookups, PageSpeed tests, Business Profile lookups, map grid points and backlink lookups each month, rank-tracking slots, saved keywords, competitors and open tasks. Each answer says what it used and what's left, and your AI checks with you before using more. Reading your data, mapping pages, creating reports and writing in Claude or ChatGPT don't use any allowance, and nothing here uses Arva SEO AI credits.
Good to know
- Your AI only sees what you can see. Viewers can read but not change anything.
- Numbers come from Arva SEO's data. When something isn't connected yet (Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress), your AI says so and points you to where to connect it.
- Everything your AI saves appears in Arva SEO with your name, like work done in the app.
