The Arva SEO Connector is a free WordPress plugin, on every plan. Once connected, your website gets:
- Website Health: about 40 WordPress checks (updates, HTTPS, scheduled tasks, debugging, caching, search visibility and more), turned into findings that say what's wrong, why it matters, how to fix it, who should do it, and how to check and undo the fix.
- Send to WordPress: drafts from the Content page go straight to WordPress as drafts, for review, scheduled or published, but never beyond what the site's administrator allows.
Before you start, add the website in Arva SEO with the same domain as the WordPress site. You need to be the workspace owner or an admin, and a WordPress administrator.
Install the plugin
- Download the Arva SEO Connector plugin. Once it's listed on WordPress.org you can also search for Arva SEO Connector in Plugins → Add New.
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file, then Install Now and Activate.
Connect it
- In WordPress, open Arva SEO → Connection.
- Read Exactly what is shared. Tick I agree to share the plugin inventory and Website Health checks, or untick sharing if you only want to send content.
- Choose Connect to Arva SEO. Sign in to Arva SEO if asked, choose the website and approve. You never type your Arva SEO password into WordPress.
- You're back in WordPress, connected. The first health check runs in the background within a few minutes.
Choose what Arva SEO may publish
In WordPress, Arva SEO → Settings sets the ceiling: Draft only (the default), Editorial review, Editorial review and scheduling, or Full publishing. Pick a default author too: posts from Arva SEO are created as that person.
Where to find everything
- The website's WordPress page in Arva SEO shows the connection, Website Health, every finding with its evidence, the plugins and themes, and the history. You can change a finding's status, assign it, edit its wording for your client, and choose whether it appears in client reports.
- Website Health in the sidebar lists findings across all your WordPress websites.
- Client reports include a WordPress health section. Leave the section out when you create a report, or untick Include in client reports on a single finding.
To disconnect, use Disconnect on either side. Deleting the plugin also revokes its access.
