Two-step verification is optional. When it's on, signing in to Arva SEO also asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone, after your password or Google. Someone who learns your password can't sign in without your phone.
Turn it on
- Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy.
- In Arva SEO, open the menu with your name, choose Account settings, and under Two-step verification choose Turn on.
- Scan the QR code with the app, or enter the key shown under it. Then enter the 6-digit code the app shows.
- Save your 8 recovery codes somewhere safe, such as your password manager. They're shown only once.
We email you whenever two-step verification is turned on or off, or a recovery code is used.
Signing in
After your password, or after Continue with Google, enter the code your app shows. Each code works once.
If you lose your phone
On the code step, choose Lost your phone? Use a recovery code and enter one of your recovery codes. Each one works once. Then, under Account settings → Two-step verification, make new recovery codes, or turn it off and on again with your new phone.
No phone and no recovery codes left? Use the contact form with your account's email address. Once we've confirmed it's you, we turn two-step verification off so you can sign in.
Turn it off
Under Account settings → Two-step verification, choose Turn off, then enter a code from your app or a recovery code.
